What, When, Where, and What It Costs:

The reunion will be in the school basement, Saturday, June 3, 2006.    Door opens at 6:30 PM, and we have the basement as long as we like. The reunion will include dinner, drinks, entertainment, and a chance to see people you may not have seen for...forty years! Tickets are $35    per person, which includes food and hosted bar. Really! (It's a better  bargain than you'd even get at TurnStyle!) Dress casual. (i.e., Navy-Blue Clip-On Tie Optional.)

What We Have Planned:

Cocktail hour until 7:30 or so, then buffet dinner. Think barbecue...more details as we get them pinned down here. Chat time until 10:30 or so, when the sock hop begins and runs until...we're done. (You do remember how to bugaloo, don't you?) Between drinks and dinner we'll have introductions, a trivia contest, and other related silliness. We'll have music from the 60s (make sure you tell Jeff what your favorite songs are so he can find them) and a museum table with lots of interesting things from our tenure at IC. It should be a lot of fun. 

Before and After the Reunion Proper

On the Friday before the reunion, we're having an informal party at the Rennaisance Suites Hotel. (Click here for details.) And on the Sunday afternoon after the Reunion, we're gathering a group to go down to see the matineer performance of Late Nite Catechism. (Click here for details.) This will be a weekend you won't forget for another forty years!

Hotel Arrangements for Out-Of-Towners

Gary Pearson has been gracious enough to arrange a block of rooms at cut-rate prices at the brand-new Renaissance Suites Hotel, at 8500 W. Bryn Mawr, overlooking the Beautiful Kennedy Expressway. To reserve a room, call 1-800-468-3571 (1-800-HOTELS1) and tell them your're with the "IC Reunion." Click on the link and take a look: The hotel is spectacular, with a swimming pool, fitness center, in-room high-speed Internet, and excellent transportation almost anywhere. It's so close to IC (basically Cumberland and Bryn Mawr) that you could just about walk there.

We're Still Looking for People!

We're doing pretty well on contacting IC 1966 graduates. Of the 142 people on the Class of 1966 graduation photo, we've found 94, plus the seven who are known to have died. (See the List of Graduates for up-to-date list of who's lost, who's found, and who has left this Earth.) Of course, people who attended IC in our class but left before graduating are also invited. If you are a member of the IC Class of 1966, please get in touch. But don't stop there. Please contact any graduates you yourself are still in touch with (or know where to find) and let them know the event is on the calendar. Encourage them to contact us with addresses so we can mail out invitations, which will be sent monthly until May.
